The LCWS held in Morioka in December of 2016 was a rousing success, and interest at the ILC is growing steadily. In order to harness this opportunity, the Iwate ILC Promotion Councfil will be holding a seminar that will foster commercial interest in entering the accelerator business, as well as increase awareness of what we are doing to bring about the ILC.

Local business leaders who attended the industrial session events at LCWS 2016 will be giving presentations on the LCWS event, and talking about the initiatives their businesses are taking to get involved with the accelerator field. These presentations will be aimed at businesses interested in the accelerator field, and there will also be a report from the Tohoku ILC Preperatory Office as well as latest news about the ILC.
