ILC and the Creative Reconstruction (Memorial Symposium)

May 12, 2016

2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

As the national government of Japan moves to serious deliberations on hosting the ILC, a cooperative framework is taking shape between Japanese Diet members and US Members of Congress. Since autumn of 2015, Tohoku University and the Tohoku Economic Federation (Tokeiren) have worked together to consider a grand design for developing the region of Tohoku for the ILC. At this symposium, we’d like to think together on what an ideal development scenario would be regarding Tohoku and the ILC.
